Our Insurance

Particle Board and Press Board Furniture:

Because of the uncertain nature of these types of fabricated products, most insurance will not cover them.  We will move them if you sign our waiver form, but they will not be covered in the event of damage, a break, or collapse.

Glass:

Our insurance will not cover any glass entities that have not been removed or disassembled from their matching furniture pieces.  This includes, but is not limited to, shelving, doors, and table tops.  Additionally, all glass pieces (including mirrors) must be properly boxed or crated for transit.  Loose glass items are never covered.

Loading & Unloading:

Your furniture is only covered under our insurance while it is in our possession.  Once your moving truck or container has been loaded and/or unloaded, our coverage stops.  Furniture is never covered while in transit because we are not driving or transporting your belongings. Additionally, if we load your truck or container, and a different company/individual unloads it, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur.  Any furniture or item that fails structurally will not be covered or replaced.  Lastly, if you begin loading or unloading your truck before we arrive to begin service, your items are no longer covered.  The same is true if you elect to load and/or unload your possessions during your moving services.

Moving Pads & Blankets:

When we arrive to load and/or unload your belongings, it is required that you provide proper pads or blankets to wrap them in.  Should you not provide them, Move Cheap® LLC will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs because so.  If proper moving pads are not provided, no claims will be accepted.         

Electronics:

All electronic devices should be stored in a box or container before they are loaded/unloaded in or out of your truck or container.  If these objects are not packaged properly they will not be covered by our insurance.

Pre Ordered Time:

When selecting our services, you are given the option to order the amount of hours you deem necessary to complete your task. In the event that we are unable to complete your task in the preordered time, and are unable to stay, we are in no way responsible for leaving that job incomplete.  Additionally, should we complete the task in less time than you ordered, you are still responsible for paying the full amount of time you preordered. 

Replace or Repair:

Damaged items will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Move Cheap® LLC and our insurance company, Capacity Coverage, with items of like kind and quality.  Claims are figured at replacement value minus a $100 deductible. 

Accidental Damage To Your Home:

Damage to your walls or doorways will be repaired at our cost, unless the damage will exceed $500.  Damage in excess of $500 will be the responsibility of our insurance co.

We will only paint damaged sections when painting is required.  Customers are still responsible for supplying any paint or stain.  Damage to wood or laminate flooring will not be covered when the feet of the furniture don't have the correct padding or protection.

Final Disclaimer:

Move Cheap® LLC is not responsible for any items in your moving container that are left unattended.  Items not listed on the damage waiver before your movers leave will not be accepted in a claim.  If you see damage occur, please notify your crew leader immediately.
